Connecting your Gmail or Outlook mailbox
Connect your work mailbox so your email appears in Frucado and offers go out from your own address.
Connecting your mailbox lets you read and reply to email inside Frucado, and means offers are sent from your own address, with replies coming back to your inbox.
Connect
- Open Connections in the left menu.
- Choose Gmail or Outlook and click to connect.
- Sign in with your work account and allow the access Frucado asks for.
When it's done, Connections shows Connected with the date.
"Google identity connected · Gmail inbox permission not granted"
This means you signed in with Google but didn't tick the box that lets Frucado read your inbox. Click Grant inbox access and allow it on the Google screen.
Getting your email into Frucado
Open Inbox. New email arrives automatically, and you can sync straight away if you're waiting for something. Frucado keeps a copy of what it needs to show you the message and link it to your contacts. Your mailbox stays the original: archiving or deleting in Frucado does the same in Gmail.
Good to know
- Only one mailbox can be connected at a time.
- Disconnecting stops new email from arriving in Frucado. Email you already have stays.
- If you see ACTION NEEDED on Connections, reconnect the mailbox or ask your administrator.
